The Savoy Automobile Museum’s newest temporary exhibit, “Georgia Tech Student Competition Center Engineering Vehicles,” will run through August 27th.

CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA – Georgia Tech has a chance to show its pride with the Savoy’s newest temporary exhibit, “Georgia Tech Student Competition Center Engineering Vehicles,” at the Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, GA. A Tribute to Georgia Tech’s automotive legacy, this exhibit celebrates the intersection of engineering, innovation, and sportsmanship for which Georgia Tech is known. The Student Competition Center at Georgia Tech is home to seven student engineering competition teams: GT Motorsports, GT Off Road, GT Solar Racing, EcoCAR, HyTech Racing, RoboJackets, and Wreck Racing. This exhibit looks at select student-built automobiles from previous competitions. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of Georgia Tech or just a car enthusiast looking for a new thrill, this exhibit is a must-see!

- 2001 Chevrolet S10 Xtreme (On loan from Georgia Tech)
- 2012 Solar Racing – SJ-1 (On loan from Georgia Tech)
- 2022 FSAE – GTMS 70 (On loan from Georgia Tech)
- 2022 HyTech Racing FSAE EV – HT06 (On loan from Georgia Tech)
- 2022 Off-Road – OR-7 Resilience (On loan from Georgia Tech)
In addition, the 1930 Ramblin’ Wreck Ford Model A Replica (Savoy Automobile Museum) will be featured in the exhibit.
The exhibit will be open through August 27, 2023. The Savoy Automobile Museum is open to the public Tuesday – Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Admission to the museum is complimentary for members. Non-members are $ 15 for ages 13 and older, $ 5 for youth ages 3 – 12, and complimentary admission is provided to children 2 and under and active military with ID.
