Speed and styling will be featured at the 2022 Cadillac Fall Festival & Concours d’Elegance, to be held at the Gilmore Car Museum campus in Hickory Corners, Mich., from Sept. 22-24. The event benefits the Cadillac LaSalle Club Museum and Research Center located on the campus.
The Cadillac Fall Festival will include a tribute to influential designer David R. Holls with a display of several cars he designed. There will also be symposiums with notable GM designers on Friday and Saturday presented by John Manoogian, Dick Ruzzin and Brian Baker, who worked with Holls at GM Design. Only 80 tickets for the symposium are available each day, so register early to get a seat.
In addition, several historic and current Cadillac race cars will be displayed, including the rarely seen 1950 Cadillacs that raced at that year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. The race car display will also include a special race car design exhibit by the Cadillac Design Studio.
The Cadillac Fall Festival will also include rides in vintage Cadillacs, docent-led tours of the Gilmore Car Museum buildings, a peer-judged car show on Friday followed by a gala reception, the concours on Saturday and a dinner with designers from the Cadillac Studio on Saturday evening.
The deadline to participate in the concours with a show car is July 31. For more information, including a full list of events, go to https://www.cadillacfallfestival.com, or call 443-994-5455.
