Apple launched its latest iPhone 14 series two weeks ago.
While in the UK, iPhone 14 is in stock for immediate pick-up now, its Pro series still need to be reserved online. iPhone 14 Pro has 3-4 weeks’ leading time and Pro Max takes 4-5 weeks. There is no sign the leading times will be reduced in the near future.
It is not surprising that the Pro series are more popular, since the standard iPhone 14 has limited upgrade from the previous generation. The latest chipset is missing and iPhone 14’s camera setting also lags far behind Pro series.
We expect the ratio of Pro series in iPhone’s family in shipment and sales will increase, which will further boost Apple’s ASP and revenue.
iPhone 13, 13 Mini, SE 2022 and iPhone 12 are still available in-store, although you could not find iPhone 13 mini on Apple’s website. 13 and 13 Mini 128GB are £30 less and 256 GB are £20 less than the prices when they were launched.
