Washington D.C.
The nation’s capital is arguably one of the best destinations you and your family should visit for a historical getaway. Step into history by visiting the dozens of historical museums, including the various Smithsonian museums where you can immerse yourself in science, art, and history. Be sure to travel to all the monuments within The National Mall, as well as pay a visit to the White House. Philadelphia, PA
Explore the birthplace of American independence by visiting Independence National Historic Park, an area in the city that contains the Liberty Bell, the Benjamin Franklin Museum, Carpenter’s Hall, and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed. While you’re exploring the city, check out Reading Terminal Market – it is the largest and oldest public market in the country. Boston, MA
