Stafford, UK – An outstanding lineup of motorcycles spanning more than a century of two-wheeled innovation will be presented by Bonhams|Cars Motorcycles at the highly-anticipated Spring Stafford Sale on April 26-27. In conjunction with the renowned International Classic MotorCycle Show, the auction will showcase several remarkable collections as well as bikes that trace the evolution of motorcycle engineering from Veteran pioneers to modern marvels.
The sale will be headlined by a number of exceptionally rare and significant motorcycles with unparalleled racing pedigree including a 1925 Brough Superior 981cc SS100. One of only 12 of the original SS100s from 1925 known to survivor, it retains its matching frame, engine and gearbox numbers and boasts a rich racing history. Successfully campaigned by Bob Matthews, a renowned Irish racer, it recorded a 2nd place finish in the 1927 Ulster Grand Prix. The sale of this significant motorcycle coincides with a record-breaking showcase of 25 Brough Superior SS100s, some of the rarest and most iconic ever made, at the Stafford show in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the SS100.

The Andy Chapman Collection Part II
Following Part I during the 2024 Autumn Stafford Sale, Bonhams|Cars Motorcycles presents the next installment – 16 impressive machines that celebrate the pinnacle of their era. The collection features iconic British, Italian, and Japanese multi-cylinder masterpieces from the 1970s and ‘80s, sporting bold colors and undeniable charisma.

The Green House Farm Collection
The Green House Farm Collection showcases an exceptional selection of Pioneer motorcycles, which are eligible for two of the UK’s most prestigious vintage motorcycle events: the Bonhams-sponsored Sunbeam Motorcycle Club’s Pioneer Run and the Vintage Motor Cycle Club’s Banbury Run.

The Barry Winter Collection
The sale will also offer the collection of Barry Winter, a lifelong collector and true biker. Over the years, Winter has owned countless incredible machines, but the crowning jewel of his collection is a magnificent 1932 Brough Superior Overhead 680 which he purchased from renowned collector Bill Faulkner after many years of searching for a Brough Superior of his own. Ownership of the 680 deepened Winter’s interest for the Nottingham marque, leading him to acquire a striking 1936 Brough Superior 982cc ‘MX’ SS80.
