Carlisle, PA – Fall Carlisle was the event that started it all for the Miller families, and since 1974, has also been the event that’s concluded the automotive events schedule at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. From October 2-6, 2024, nearly 100,000 guests will converge to buy, sell, and trade all things automotive. In addition, less than two blocks east of the fairgrounds at the Carlisle Expo Center, Carlisle Auctions will host its two-day classic and collector car auction from October 3-4. All of this serves as the backdrop to the historic conclusion of the Carlisle Events 50th Anniversary season.
Combining a car auction and automotive flea market event is what makes an event like Fall Carlisle so much for buyers and sellers alike. There are 8,100 vending spaces packed with thousands of vendors and millions of auto parts for sale, over 650 cars for sale within the car corral, unique finds, deals at every turn, and a sense of community that can only best be enjoyed at the event. Further, when you take those 650 classic and daily driver-type cars for sale by owner in the car corral and factor in the 400+ planned consignments at the auction, that means well over 1,000 rides spanning all eras of production have the chance to find new homes before the conclusion of the event.
Gates open for Fall Carlisle at 7 AM each day, while the auction starts at 12 PM during its two-day run. Spectator admission is $ 13 at the door, cheaper if purchased online, and is good for both events. Conversely, anyone who registers to bid at the auction, or consigns to sell also gets reciprocating admission; plus the ability to bring a friend. In short, there are a variety of top-notch ways to be part of the fall event.
If it’s not at Carlisle, it’s possible it does not exist. The thrill of the hunt is strong with this event and the passion of each shopper is on full display. Those same passions come to life during the auction, as the fast-paced nature of a live auction is enough to make anyone say “Here, take my money.” The auction has such a mix of vehicles, that it’s very easy to find a white-glove, best-of-show vehicle for a great price point as it is to find a classic that can serve as a daily driver. These are investments that truly accelerate. Powered by the FREE UNLESS SOLD guarantee and the popular All Truck Hour on October 3, there’s a little something new and fresh for everyone.
Speaking of something new and fresh, just announced for Fall Carlisle 2024, the Carlisle Corner located in Building T. Throughout the year, Carlisle Events has been celebrating its 50th Anniversary season, complete with special signage, apparel, and a timeline wall in Building T. As this milestone season concludes, the timeline will remain, but the celebration will be enhanced with at least two collector cars on display by way of Carlisle Events co-owners Bill Miller, Jr. and Lance Miller, even more artifacts and collectibles from Carlisle’s past on display, and a table set up to sell overstock Carlisle branded merchandise.
