Industry is weak due strong economy headwinds such as inflation and currency exchange rate turbulence, on-going geopolitical tensions, as well as the weakening demand in multiple markets have contributed to the weak performance.
In terms of brands, Apple took the lead by shipment volume as well as sales volume and followed by Samsung in shipment volume as well as sale volume in the market worldwide in January 2023. Xiaomi remains in third spot in both Shipment and sale volume. Other vendors on our top-10 list included OPPO (including OnePlus), Vivo, Transsion, Honor, Realme, Lenovo-Motorola, and Huawei.
