It took 14 years, but one owner has breathed new life into this stunning 1962 Mercury Monterey.

Rick Rodriguez has resurrected this stunning Merc. He had this to say about his rejuvenated Monterey…
“My wife brought me this car for my birthday 15 years ago for $ 3,200. It needed lot’s of work from the ground up. I started to work on the car little by little. First, I started with my suspension, then afterwards rebuilt the original 352 motor. The transmission also had to be rebuilt. After that was all completed, I replace all of the wire harness. Then the upholstery and the paint job afterwards. It took me 14 years to restore the car.”
