“This car was restored prior to purchase. The 1953 Cadillac’s firsts were the full glass rear window and the automatic headlight dimmer. 1953 Cadillacs were equipped with the most powerful domestic engine in the USA. Cadillac overhead cam engines originally developed in 1949 were used in racing by both Cadillac and others including the English Allard. It could be considered the Honda racing engine of the 1950s. This car also has a 4-speed Hydromatic transmission, power steering, windows, and front seat. I suggest the 1953 Cadillac is the car that outpaced the Hot Rod Lincoln…”
