Old Cars We’d Buy That!: Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 Bentley S1 Continental Saloon by Mulliner

The master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock apparently loved Bentleys.

The 1958 Bentley S1 “Flying Spur” Continental was originally purchased new by Hitchcock. It was one of 16 left-hand-drive Bentleys produced by the coachbuilder H.J. Mulliner and featured a 4.9-liter inline-six with twin SU carburetors.

It started life as a Tudor Gray sedan but received its dark green facade when it was refurbished at D&D Classic Automobile restoration in Ohio.

The Hitchcock Bentley is currently at $ 70K on bringatrailer.com and the bidding ends on September 30th.
