Now through March 20th The Gilmore Car Museum is giving you a look under the hood.
Hickory Corners, Mich. – It’s time for the annual event that serious gearheads won’t want to miss. For two special weeks in March, the hoods will be raised on all the vehicles inside the Gilmore Car Museum to showcase their engines! Whether 1960s big block muscle, inline fours, vintage V8s, or early air-cooled engines, they’ll all be on display for certified gearheads to explore and enjoy.
Special programming will include FREE Horsepower Tours of notable high-performance engines in vehicles throughout the collection, discussing their unique features, power, torque, and prowess. Special focus will be placed on legendary engines found in the Muscle Car and 1950s/1960s Galleries. Local muscle car restoration experts and engine builders will lead one hour tours focusing on specific manufacturers, vehicles, and engine technology of the era.
