Honor’s resilient journey slowed down in Q3 2022. Its global smartphone shipment fell annually since its split from Huawei, for the first time ever. Apple’s total global smartphone shipments went up +6% annually to 48.5 million units in Q3 2022 – very solid quarterly results in a challenging economic environment, significantly outperforming its competitors and the overall market, which declined -9% YoY in Q3 2022. According to new research from Strategy Analytics, global smartphone shipments fell -9% YoY to 297 million units in Q3 2022. Samsung topped the global smartphone market with a healthy 22% share in Q3 2022. Apple ranked the second place with 16% share, the highest third quarter performance over the past twelve years. Apple launched its latest iPhone 14 series two weeks ago.

While in the UK, iPhone 14 is in stock for immediate pick-up now, its Pro series still need to be reserved online. iPhone 14 Pro has 3-4 weeks’ leading time and Pro Max takes 4-5 weeks. There is no sign the leading times will be reduced in the near future.
